Four Engines, All-New Generation
The 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 enters a new generation with major updates to its power, capability and overall refinement. Four engines are available, including the upgraded 2.7-liter TurboMax, 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel and new 5.7-liter and 6.6-liter V8 engines.
A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard, with rear- and four-wheel drive available. Fuel economy and final performance specifications will be announced closer to its launch.

Modern Appearance, Familiar Truck Proportions
The redesigned Silverado combines a strong, modern appearance with familiar truck proportions. Seven trims are offered: WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, Silverado, Trail Boss, ZR2 and High Country. Three cab configurations and multiple bed lengths provide plenty of flexibility.
The ZR2 and Trail Boss add serious off-road capability, including a factory lift, while the High Country delivers a more upscale experience with premium materials and available luxury features.
