They rotated the tires on my duelly pickup wrong. The inside rims on the duelly are steel and the rest are aluminum. They put the steel rims on the front of the truck. After driving a while I noticed a vibration so made an appointment. After 3 hours and taking the shop Foreman for a ride he figured it out. The technician didn't know. I believe that I should get compensated for my time and their mistake.

Usually I am met outside the garage for the oil change. Had to go inside and one of the technicians pointed me over to a girl at a desk that was on her phone. She promptly waited on me. I mention it only because it was unusual. Also another unusual event was that my air filters were not checked. A little thing bit gain, not what I was used to when getting my car serviced.

I had to take my vehicle to the dealership multiple times, enduring substantial delays and miscommunication on their part. During the last visit, it took them 2.5 weeks to finish the repairs. Upon retrieving the vehicle, my son discovered that his seatbelt was not functioning, which is a major safety issue. Thankfully my son said something and just didn’t put the non working seat belt on. Furthermore, both sides of the back interior were severely scratched during the window replacement. It is incredibly frustrating that such damage occurred at a dealership, but what is even more frustrating is that they knowingly left the vehicle with this damage and significant safety concerns, expecting me not to notice.

I asked for three items to be repaired: 1. To reconnect the air conditioning to the back of my van that Auto Aces disabled in 2020 when I was going to sell it as a possible cargo van; 2. Replace the engine air filter; 3. Replace the map/reading light bulbs. Instead I get a phone call back from Ryan saying their inspection found all kinds of other issues including replacing entire front wheel steering system, head gaskets, oil pan gaskets, pumpkin gasket, all adding up to $4,842.24 in extra work. And their shop boss declined to work on my vehicle. Funny that my van sat unused for two years on my concrete driveway and there was not a single drop of anything even when I would run it to keep the battery fresh. The only time I had a major leak was when I was checking the brake lights and my brake pedal went to the floor board. I had brake fluid pouring from under the driver’s door which was where the brake distribution block was. I had Auto Aces on Velp replace all brake lines with new steel lines. I drove this vehicle and if I needed so much work needed for an entire steering rack, pitman, idler arm, outer tire rods steering gear box then how the hell does my van drive straight as an arrow going 70 MPH without shaking or wheels toe in or out? You must think I’m an idiot or just stupid. You lost my business including buying any vehicles.

I was welcomed with open arms! As a first time car buyer, they found me my perfect vehicle! I drove over 3 hours for my dream car and they had everything ready when I got there. Erica is simply the best! She's always helpful above and beyond, and I look forward to seeing her every time I'm in for an oil change or anything. On the other hand, (not related to Erica at all) the ONLY reason I even bring my truck there is because it's still under warranty. Otherwise it's a constant struggle of trying to figure out if they're just trying to make money off of me or not. I don't trust the guys who've worked on my truck. My cousin owns Simonar Shell and I've already brought my truck to him to verify what Gandrud is trying to sell me, and every time he says "Nope, don't waste your money" I'm not sure if it's because I'm a woman or if this happens to everyone but either way, it's wrong. I don't randomly have $800 to throw away just one one guys recommendation. We live on a tight budget, I must be very careful with every expense. Once my warranty is up I don't think even Ericas excellence can keep me there.

Good Morning, Unfortunately my husband and I did not have a good experience and unfortunately this has not been the first time. We have been customers of gandrud for over ten years. My husband and I both work in customer service. I am a nurse and he works for festival. I would never treat my patients they way we were treated. This is in regards to the service department and sales department. We were treated like our business didn't matter. As if Gandrud could care less if they got our business or not. Having a vehicle that doesn't start is a scary thing especially from a financial standpoint. Lots of things go through a person's mind. How much will this cost? Can I afford this? How do I afford this? Is this worth getting fixed or not? We knew when we brought the vehicle in that there was a high chance we were more than likely trading it in due to the amount of money we have put into the vehicle already this year. It was recently serviced with you for brakes where we paid $864 just in April. It has been in so many times since we bought it three years ago. I understood when I brought it in what the initial diagnostic fee. However, I was not aware that it was an hourly fee to find out what was wrong with my vehicle. It was also implied that it was my husband's fault because he installed the battery himself. Please don't do that it's insulting. We do that because we can't afford to have service done with you and only come when we absolutely need to. While we waited to find out the issue of our vehicle which I believe we got there around 11 we worked with the sales time on what a trade in would look like and possibly a different vehicle. We were initially told 18-20 grand for our Traverse. When we finally found out the issue which came at about 4? Maybe later we were told the total would be about $600 to fix including the time that had already gone into it. The sales time took that number deducted it and gave us a value of 15,500. It also took almost an hour just to get a trade in value for our vehicle even though it had already been there all day. We were ready to purchase a new vehicle and trade in our old one. We called the next morning to come and get our vehicle so we could clean it out and come back that evening. We were told not to pay anything because it was figured in our trade in unless we decided not to trade it in we would be responsible for the diagnostic. Great. Totally get that. When we got it back and don't get me wrong we have five kids I am aware it was by no means clean. However it was clear that our vehicle had been gone through trying to find the problem and it was an even bigger mess. Also our DVD player was disconnected and is no longer working. My husband and I decided to pull out of the trade and he went to pay the diagnostic fee and he was charged $410! I'm sorry but that's insane. It's not our fault that it took so long to find the problem. However to pay $410 for nothing is ridiculous. I guess it they wanted to continue to charge hourly and it took that long we should of been made aware. It also makes zero sense when you consider the total was only $600. That means it cost less to fix the problem than to dig through our vehicle? Plus we got it back in a mess and a disconnected DVD player that we have no idea how to reconnect. I called to question the amount and was basically shut down. There was no working with us on anything. Please forward this on to all the appropriate departments as we know this was not all on the service department. Does Gandrud take no pride in customers who have been with them for years. I personally work with someone who is also a customer and know that because he daughter worked there in the past she is treated differently and does not get walked over. She doesn't get overcharged and is always serviced in a timeful manner.

I brought my Tahoe in on 10/28/25 (SO 818542) to diagnose a constant whistling noise. One of your technician's went for a ride with me and verified the noise with David. The technician that worked on the car stated "Not able to duplicate concern". I recently brought back the Tahoe (6/16/25, SO 843680) with the same issue. This time, the technician found the idler pulley loose and a damaged belt. As you know, if this belt had broken, it could have caused severe damage to my vehicle. It causes me to question the quality of your technicians to diagnose problems like this.

The front desk girls were not pleasant. They were not helpful and seemed to need training on finishing the transaction. There was no hello, no smile, nothing. When asked for my checklist after the oil change, the answer was go to your service advisor. There was no effort, no customer service. I suggest you coach and train these associates more for a better customer experience. Ironically the sales folks are begging for me to come in and buy another car. Put forth more effort to keep the customers you have. The service advisor was good. Responsive and honest.

Autumn and the car loaner gentleman were exceptional to work with! I was not too impressed by the checkout counter staff. There were a few staff members back there and not one of them acknowledged me when I was waiting there. In fact, Autumn even came up and asked if I had been helped and such. Only one of them appeared to be busy. It took a few minutes for someone to finally acknowledge me and kind of rudely, like I was an inconvenience to them. It doesn't take much effort to kindly say, "I will be right with you." Even if they are all busy. None of them had smiling faces either. They all looked as if they do not enjoy their job. This is not the first time I have had an experience like this with your checkout counter, but figured, we all have bad days, but this seems to be their norm. When I was being helped, she was not very happy and pleasant. Again, I always seem to have this experience with the checkout counter.

Carter was fabulous to work with on the lease of my new 2025 Equinox!!! I test drove three vehicles. Carter went over all of the features in the vehicles and answered all of my questions. He was kind and courteous. Nick in finance did a great job in going over the lease details and paperwork. This kind of service from both Carter and Nick is why I continue to come back to Gandrud. There are many GM dealerships in the area. I choose Gandrud because they are easy to work with and the "sale" does not stop when you sign the lease. Gandrud continues their customer service after the lease as well, promoting their body shop for oil changes. Great service and customer service ! I will return when this lease is up in 2028. Within 30 minutes he had a rental car and service slip wrote up to take care of caliper on front left wheel. He kept us informed the next day on our vehicle. Initially I pulled in exited my vehicle and literally stood there for about 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. In the 2 1/2 hours I was there never was updated. I assumed they forgot about me. Lastly I need a repair on my passenger mirror. The advisor handed it to me I didn’t know if it was fixed or not. He said they would have to order the parts and walked away. I stopped him and asked if he would order them for me. I had to ask if they would contact me when they came in. He said “yeah”. I’m still not sure if I will hear anything. After this repair, I will be most likely going to Bergstrom for service.

A few simple items to attend took more than 3 hours to complete, after I was promised a wait of a little over 1 hour. And there weren’t many vehicles besides mine in the service bay. The mood in the entire place was unmotivated and slow. Finally, the cashier told me there was a rebate on the air filter, that I was supposed to send in- I asked how do I know what filter to apply and she was bewildered I’d ask but ended up retrieving that info from the mechanic. So no I am not please not impressed with your service.

From the moment I arrived there was a smiling person to greet me and ask what he could for me. I was told the approximate time to do the job. Didn't reset oil life indicator, told me tire pressure was set to 38 psi ,but tire pressure monitor had different tire pressures. Oily finger prints on hood . Techs could take a little better care of a $60,000.00 truck!

I dropped off my car and they said it would be an hour to hour and half. So I asked for a call back so I could come as soon as it was done and she said yes and took my phone number. I had a $10 off coupon I gave her at that time. After my oil change was done, I did NOT get a call back, as requested. My husband received a text on his phone, and had to let me know that it was done. So I went to pay and she gave me the paperwork and I asked about the $10 coupon and she said she did not have it. She had to run over to the service area to ask for the coupon and then she had to rerun the paperwork. She said there was a 3% charge for using credit card - which I think is ridiculous for using a GM card! But that is not her fault. So then I get my keys and get my car and drive away. I decided to look to make sure the oil percent sensor was reset - and it was not!!!! So I had to turn around and go back, go in and request for it to be done. If you spend that much for an oil change - you would expect that it would be done! I seriously wonder if they even did the oil change and filter replacement??? I have had a couple other not great experiences there and swore I wasn’t coming back, but did cause of the convenience. But an extra 10 minute drive across town to Bergstrom is probably better for my blood pressure and health - because I was that mad yesterday! And I have talked to many people about this experience yesterday and they asked too if they even did the oil change??? Thank you for asking. Mary May

Gandrud does an excellent job at the oil change facility. That explains why there is often a line of cars waiting to get in. I assume everybody agrees its worth the wait. Interesting how none of the oil change businesses in the area advertise the price for oil changes but all offer discount coupons. In the search for saving a few bucks I contacted most of the oil changers to get a price or online coupon. Gandruds price with dexos1 synthetic was less than the competitors even using their promos or discounts.

Ripped my backup camera harness off resulting in longer repair time. Given carelessness with this I suspect that the left panel that I needed replacing was likely broken in removal and not just “found to have broken clips and the blind spot detector dangling” especially being that there was none, nor had there ever been, any damage to that side of the vehicle and the blind spot detector never had any issues. Cost me an extra $900 and put a bad taste in my mouth.

We bought an EV and we didn't know that it didn't have CarPlay like our previous vehicle, same make and type of car only switched to and EV. We thought the transition would be easy, but nobody told us that the EV completely switched away from Apple Car Play and used Google and Amazon. When we got into the car the navigation did not work because we didn't know we had to log into a Google account so we had no way to get home and it was pitch black out. It would have been nice to know the changes and to have someone set us up for success. We would not have purchased this vehicle if we had known it did not have the Car Play feature. That is a BIG deal and a BIG change.

I needed a software update for my infotainment system. First off being able to schedule an appointment through the Chevrolet app made booking easy. As soon as I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted promptly and the repair process began. They thought I would take an hour so I decided to look around the lot at vehicles, then waited in the lounge area to use wi-fi to go through my phone. Nick the service advisor came to the lounge and let me know it would take a bit longer and offered me a courtesy shuttle to bring me home. I declined and called my wife for a ride. About an hour later I received a text from Nick, with his phone number stating if I had any questions feel free to call or text. Another half hour and I got a call from Nick letting me know the repairs were complete and I could pick up the Tahoe. I told his I would come in later due to my wife being gone to her pickleball workout. Nick promptly arranged for the Gandrud shuttle to come pick me up. The shuttle driver (I didn't catch her name) was a sweet mature lady with pleasant conversation. I was dropped off at the service department, and completed the paperwork. Everything seems to be working properly on the Tahoe. I will say every person I had contact with at Gandrud was friendly and prompt. A good service experience.

Overall pretty good however I was concerned when I picked up the vehicle and in the process of gasing up checked under the hood. I had a spark plug swap out done and it looked like nothing had been touched. The engine cover was still dusty and there was a mouse nest under it. I’m a bit surprised it was noticed and cleaned out during the spark plug swap which I hope was actually done. Thank you.

The wait to get an oil change was extremely long, made worse by the fact that when you pull up, you don’t know which of the 3 bays to park behind. I apparently chose the wrong one since 3 people that came after me got done way before me. I suggest having one feeding lane so the employee can drive the vehicles into the next available bay.

Nick and Race have preserved my status as a future customer. For context, I bought my first new vehicle from Gandrud in Dec. 2018. I then moved, in Feb. 2019, from Green Bay to Seymour, WI. In June 2025, I traded in the Silverado, with 76,000 miles, solely because I knew that my schedule would be way too chaotic for the next year or two to accommodate scheduling anything at all, and I needed a reliable vehicle. Although there are many reputable dealerships much closer to my home, I returned to Gandrud out of loyalty. When my check engine light came on at 5,000 miles, I started thinking seriously about another trade-in for a new vehicle, and at a dealership close to home. Nick and Race have handled this impossible situation gracefully, so I'll give them a chance at pulling off a miracle.

Greeted promptly after pulling up to door to get a Oil Change & Tire Rotation. My 2018 Suburban just turned over 50k miles the night before & was telling me, for some time, to get the oil changed. We were back on the road in around 30 minutes, complete with a full safety check plus a brake check too! Was waiting to be called and then received a emailed receipt showing someone else had submitted a payment. Had to go up there to straighten it out. Brought our truck in for first oil change and tire rotation. Service rep texted to say one wheel stud was cross threaded and needed to be replaced. When we came to pick up the truck from oil change, no one knew if the damaged stud and lug nut was replaced or if service had a chance to look at it. We were told we would receive a call from service rep and haven’t heard anything back.

The one thing I do not like is that when I called to make an appointment is that I got a message that messaging is done by text message. Serviceman Eric was great. Cost of tires was great. But 10% veteran's discount was deceiving. Instead $122 discount, I got $100. When I went back and inquired about it, I was told there is a $100 max. Why wasn't I told this upfront. James Jackovich

Bought a 2025 and only got 1 key which should never happen for that new of a vehicle. Never received paperwork i was supposed to after signing and when i contacted the person about getting the paperwork i was ignored. Overall the experience was horrible and made me realize why i would much rather buy a vehicle privately then from a dealership ever again

I was very pleased with my service advisor, Autumn. She did a great job. I was happy with the end result on the work that was done on my vehicle. I was in the waiting room for two consecutive days for a total of nearly 5 hours. I am not complaining about the length of time, but I have to say I was miserable in the waiting room. I was really uncomfortably cold, even when I dressed warmer for the next day. Also, the music playing was not to my liking so I found it rather annoying. I was so happy to get out of there when the work was done.

This was one of the best service experiences I ever had. I contacted Autumn to get my truck in and she arranged to get it in on my time schedule.
