Word has come down from Bob Lutz to remove the camo from the preproduction Camaro so further evaluations can be done for aerodynamics and cooling efficiency.

This just in! Spotted on the GM test track: this early, preproduction Camaro Coupe.* The new Camaro is quickly evolving into final form but some of the details you see here (such as the headlamp design) may change before production begins later this year.
And be sure to keep your camera at the ready as the Camaro undergoes final shakedown testing on the track — and on the roads around Australia, Michigan and Arizona!
During the upcoming year, the preproduction Camaro will appear both on U.S. and Australian roads as we continue with testing and development.
