Jada Toys Presents - Camaro Kulture
Klash: Where Cars Meet Art
Kulture Klash, a celebration of Concept Camaro, was held November 17–18, 2007 in Los Angeles. The event, thrown by Jada Toys, was sponsored by Chevrolet and held just a block away from the LA Auto Show. It featured sixty (60) 1/10-scale Concept Camaro R/Cs, which were transformed into one-of-a-kind art pieces by nationally-known creative artists.
Participating celebrity artists included George Barris (legendary car customizer), Corey Miller from the show "LA Ink", Chester Bennington (from the band, Linkin Park), Sugarcult (the band) and Tony Alva (skateboard legend). Several other car customizers, urban artists, GM Design Center designers (Jeff Perkins, Sangyup Lee, Julien E. Montousse, Micah Jones, Vlad Kapitonov and Steve Kim) and Jada designers also showcased their personalized Camaros.
Kulture Klash was successfully promoted at the LA Auto Show in the Camaro area within the Chevrolet display. Starting in January, you will have a chance to vote on the best Camaro design from the Kulture Klash event. Come back to Camaro Connection for an update when voting is available in early January.
